I didn't have any pvc or a cap for a bell siphon, so i decided to use an empty soda bottle. it worked brilliantly! the fish tank is a 50 liter plastic box. In aquaponics due to the nature of system arrangement, continuous operation of siphon is necessary with constant water flowing into the container.. This is a small aquaponics system i built so i could experiment with the concept. if it works out well for me i'd love to build a large version of this system but....
